“New Music for an Old House” I actively seek, crave, and desire the need to visit works of art which stimulate me. Growing up, I had no exposure to museums, or fine art at all. Only cartoons and books. But realised the powers of first hand contact with masters arts once living in LA. It wasn’t until I traveled to Europe for the first time that I saw what standing in front of a beautifully rendered painting did for my soul. I saw artworks from David Gerard, Vermeer, Van Eyck,Stubbs, Bouguereau, to name a few, which mu eyes had only seen through books. This painting encompasses the spirit of how art magically brings people together, and how it personally found me. The old house is a heart which has new life.
